Kylin | 麒麟 Kylin is a deer-like creature that has the ability to distinguish between good and bad people. When it finds a person with a pure heart, the Kylin would bow to them. So when a Kylin appears, people in ancient China believed that there were sages (圣人) nearby. 傳說中，麒麟是正義的動物，它能辨善惡，只對心靈純潔的人鞠躬。因此，古人相信，凡麒麟現身，附近必有圣人。
