Cutter shaft and WMK cutter head marking.

Marking

1. The hexagonal position of the cutter shaft is defined and marked by a red dot as shown in the picture. Borehole for centering pin

2. The balancing disk of the WMK-2M cutter head with a borehole for the centering pin of the cutter set no. 1 is pushed on the cutter shaft as shown in the picture. (cutter shaft marking at top; borehole for centering pin at top)

3 Slide cutter set 1 on the cutter shaft. The centering pin will align with the

balancing disk.

This type of fixation ensures that cutter 1 is always aligned in the

direction of the red dot on the cutter shaft.

4. Fit all cutter sets and intermediate disks. Then mount the end disk with

the marking on the cutter shaft. (observe the cutter shaft and end disk

marking)

5. Fit cap nut onto cutter shaft.

Use power tool to tighten cutter head.

Important: Cutter 1 must always point upwards when

tightening.

Secure cap nut with safety screw.

Why are parts marked?

A 550 ltr. cutter consists of relatively heavy cutter head components.

It must be easy to slide the components onto the hexagonal fitting of the cutter shaft and

tighten them securely. It involves working with the defined play of the hexagonal fitting of

the cutter shaft and its components.

The play has been taken into account for the balancing disk for cutter no. 1.
