At the invitation of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Health Commission, China's top respiratory expert Zhong Nanshan, answered questions about the pandemic on Monday during a video conference with staff members from the Confucius Institute and Chinese students studying abroad.

目前沒(méi)有證據(jù)表明蚊蟲(chóng)叮咬會(huì)傳播新冠病毒

鐘南山院士說(shuō)，一般來(lái)說(shuō)，病毒在高溫環(huán)境下存活率、活動(dòng)率比較差，隨著夏季到來(lái)，病毒活動(dòng)會(huì)下降，溫度高對(duì)病毒活動(dòng)不利。但是，自然中紫外線沒(méi)強(qiáng)到消毒的程度，不能全靠高溫來(lái)隔斷病毒傳播。

他提到，蚊子叮咬可以傳染很多疾病，比如瘧疾、登革熱，這在非洲比較多見(jiàn)。但是到目前，沒(méi)有任何證據(jù)表明，新冠病毒能夠通過(guò)蚊蟲(chóng)傳播。

With the arrival of summer heat, virus activity will likely decline, he said. However, the natural ultraviolet rays of the sun are not strong enough to provide a sterilizing effect, he added, nor can people rely on high temperature alone to reduce the spread of the virus.

有充足證據(jù)證明連花清瘟有效

鐘南山提醒國(guó)外留學(xué)生，假如說(shuō)有點(diǎn)發(fā)燒，就要多多喝水，吃點(diǎn)帶過(guò)去的藥物，比如日夜百服寧、布洛芬、連花清瘟這一類(lèi)藥物。

他特別提到，剛剛做完一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)，有充足證據(jù)證實(shí)連花清瘟有一定效果。離體實(shí)驗(yàn)發(fā)現(xiàn)，連花清瘟膠囊對(duì)病毒抑制作用有一些，雖然很弱，但好處是對(duì)病毒引起的細(xì)胞損傷、炎癥有很好的修復(fù)作用。80%以上患者都屬于普通型新冠肺炎患者，連花清瘟膠囊比較適合普通新冠肺炎患者。

For those Chinese students overseas developing a fever, he advised drinking more water and taking medicines such as Ibuprofen and traditional Chinese medicine Lianhua Qingwen (lotus for cleansing).

Zhong said that Lianhua Qingwen, a traditional Chinese medicine, is effective in treating COVID-19, the pneumonia the virus causes.

He cited a recently concluded experiment that provided evidence that the TCM product had a positive effect. In experiments, researchers found that a Lianhua Qingwen capsule had some inhibitory effect on the coronavirus, although it was weak. Its advantage was that it seemed to help repair cell damage and reduce inflammation caused by virus.

新冠肺炎是否有后遺癥？

鐘南山表示，據(jù)他的觀察，病人康復(fù)出院后恢復(fù)得不錯(cuò)，只要沒(méi)有基礎(chǔ)性疾病，恢復(fù)得很快。就算有些基礎(chǔ)疾病，也比SARS那時(shí)要好一些。病人總的來(lái)說(shuō)恢復(fù)得都不錯(cuò)，包括肺。17年前的非典，有些病人半年到一年后還有肺部纖維化，新冠肺炎患者肺部纖維化不是太重了，看起來(lái)是可逆的。對(duì)100多個(gè)病人做了肺功能檢查，還沒(méi)有恢復(fù)到正常水平，但是看起來(lái)不會(huì)損害太大，慢慢都會(huì)恢復(fù)，所以后遺癥并不大。

Zhong said that in his observation most COVID-19 patients recovered well after being discharged from the hospital, and those with no underlying health problems generally improved rapidly.

He and his team tested the lung functions of more than 100 recovered patients, and found while they hadn't returned to normal, the damage was relatively minor, meaning the outlook was positive.

不贊成群體免疫，因?yàn)橐獱奚�很多�?/span>

在直播連線中，鐘南山表示，不贊成“群體免疫”，因?yàn)橐�達(dá)到“群體免疫”需要犧牲很多人。鐘南山表示，在歐洲有報(bào)道稱(chēng)，20%的人有抗體了，最高達(dá)到25%，這個(gè)數(shù)字離所謂的群體免疫差得很遠(yuǎn)。新冠肺炎要達(dá)到群體免疫，一般要60%~70%的人感染以后才有這個(gè)可能，現(xiàn)在還遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)沒(méi)達(dá)到。

因此，鐘南山表示，并不認(rèn)可這個(gè)辦法，因?yàn)闋奚�的人太多�?ldquo;我們有很多辦法，我們能預(yù)防、能防護(hù)，會(huì)爭(zhēng)取時(shí)間、爭(zhēng)取制成疫苗。”

Zhong said he doesn't agree with promoting so-called herd immunity because it requires the sacrifice of many people. To achieve herd immunity — a reference to large human populations — COVID-19 would require 60 to 70 percent of the population to be infected, a number still far out of reach.

"We have a lot of options. We can prevent, protect and buy time to develop a vaccine," he said.

海外留學(xué)生生活中要注意什么？

鐘南山建議：

第一，戴好口罩做好防護(hù)。不要人云亦云。以前，很多人對(duì)中國(guó)戴口罩都投以異樣的眼光，現(xiàn)在以前非常反對(duì)我們戴口罩的一些國(guó)家都開(kāi)始戴口罩了。正是我們的正確做法帶動(dòng)他們。

第二，多人共同居住，通用廁所、廚房等公共空間要注意消毒和洗手。

Zhong reminded Chinese students overseas to wear face masks for protection and to pay attention to disinfecting the home and washing the hands, especially when sharing a kitchen and bathroom with others.

鐘南山回憶41年前留學(xué)經(jīng)歷 談如何緩解壓力
